Providenciales

As one of the most developed islands in the Turks & Caicos, Providenciales has myriad activities for lovers of leisure and beaches. The beaches of Providenciales are uniquely soft-sanded and white, because the island originated in coral rather than the atypical volcanic origin most islands have. Grace Bay Beach is world renown for being the most serene, perfect swim and lounge spot, and Chalk Sound National Park, composed of a shallow lagoon with rocky, green islets and aquamarine water, is considered best for kayaking. Some of the beaches on Providenciales, such as Turtle Tail, have such shallow water that one could easily walk to small islands just offshore.
